WACO Elementary Awarded Washington Riverboat Grant |
WACO Elementary School was recently awarded a grant for $20,990 from the Washington Riverboat Foundation to equip all K-6 classrooms with electronic whiteboards, projectors, student response clickers and document cameras. Using this technology allows teachers to bring instuction to life and increase student engagement in learning. Reasearch has shown that electronic whiteboards promote higher order thinking skills in students.
