Social Studies Welcome to my home page! I am currently in my ninth year of teaching. Prior to teaching at WACO, I taught four years at Union Eighth Grade Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and one year at Marion High School in Marion, Iowa. I earned my BA in Social Studies from Bluffton University, and have completed a number of graduate courses with the goal of eventually earning a Masters in Education. As a WACO graduate, I appreciate the education I received growing up here, and thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to be part of your child's education. My teaching responsibilities include: Modern American History (required sophomore course), American Government (required senior course), Ancient World History, Modern World History, Sociology I, and Sociology II. I currently serve as a mentor teacher and as a member of the Professional Development Committee, and also sponsor high school Student Council, football & basketball cheerleading, and the class of 2011. My daily first and second semester schedules are listed below. Course descriptions may be found by clicking on any of the course titles on the left of this page. Grades are updated every Monday morning by 8:00, and may be accessed by clicking the link on WACO's home page. Please contact me if you ever have questions or comments about your child's progress in any of my classes. I can typically be reached at school between 7:30-5:00. You may reach me by phone (256-6200) or email (rreiche@wacohs.com). Thank you for visiting this site!
