This class will review Algebra 1 concepts, introduce and review geometry concepts, and introduce basic algebra 2 concepts. This is intended for students who have completed algebra and geometry, but experienced little success, or those who have completed Algebra part l and 2. The objective of this course is to get the middle of the road student ready for college.
Grades will be determined by quizzes, which will be taken over every section after 2 or 3 days of study, chapter tests, and their daily notebook(worth 50 points each 9 weeks). They will all get a daily assignment grade worth 20 points every week.
Any student getting below a 70% on a test can come in after school the day or day after the test scores are given, and correct and demonstrate further knowledge. I will then give them bonus points, but they can't raise it above 70%
