The media center has a complete range of materials to enhance students’ academic study, as well as personal reading enjoyment. Our staff welcomes student use of our resources and is here to help students find the information they are looking for. To insure that the media center is best able to meet the needs of all users, the following rules will be enforced:

1. The media center is a place for quiet study and research. Please keep
noise to a minimum. Loud or disruptive behavior will lead to loss of
library privileges.

2. Books may be checked out for two weeks. At the end of the two-week period
the book may be renewed as long as it's not overdue and no one else has
requested it.

3. The most recent issues of magazines and newspapers are kept in the media
center. Back issue magazines may be checked out for two weeks.

4. Reference works such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, ect. are for
use in the media center only.

5. All materials must be properly checked out.

6. The fine for overdue material will be three cents per school day.

7. Students are expected to take care of all media center resources. Students
will be charged for any materials they lose or damage. After using
materials, students should return them to the proper location.
